It’s worth devoting an entire night to one of the greatest directors of all time. This isn’t a best-of list for the directorthese are just our humble suggestions for which films might flow well together and show off the director’s classic themes, spanning the entirety of his career.

1. The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog (1927): Hitchcock’s third silent film introduces many of his favorite themes, all intertwined in the story of an innocent man accused of being a serial killer. Hitchcock’s attention to psychoanalytic themes can be seen here, and the film has been so influential that it’s inspired four adaptations. More…
